Faculty:

Valerie Wojciechowicz has been in the HIV field for 27 years. She has created and managed medical peer programs, speaking programs, and training with the goals of erasing stigma and discrimination and helping others see the value of eliminating stigmatizing language around HIV. Her experiences as a long-term survivor, living with HIV for 37 years, have motivated her to work tirelessly locally, statewide, and nationally. Valerie uses her experience as a woman living with HIV since the age of 23 to educate, advocate, and provide support. She is extremely passionate about improving the quality of life and education for the HIV and AIDS communities and plans to continue working toward these goals.
