Maryland, led by HealthHIV, on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at 12:00pm Eastern for a webinar that will delve into how mapping social determinants of health (SDOH) can drive HIV prevention and intervention. To illustrate this, the webinar will provide an overview of the Alive! Maryland 2023 Community Mapping Toolkit, “Visualizing Health Disparities to Advance Public Health.”

“I am a Work of ART” is a community-informed national campaign designed to encourage people with HIV who are not in care for HIV to seek care, stay in care, and achieve viral suppression by taking antiretroviral therapy (ART).

This webinar will also address different forms of PrEP and PrEP formulations, how PrEP is utilized, side effects of PrEP use, and barriers to HIV treatment. The presentation will include case studies to illustrate these topics and the faculty will connect each topic’s role in Ending the HIV Epidemic.
