DESCRIPTION:At the completion of this activity\, the participant will be able to: \n\nDescribe Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP).\nIdentify risk factors for PrEP eligibility.\nExplain the requirements for PrEP initiation.\nList monitoring parameters for patients on PrEP.\nDescribe the role of community pharmacists in the management of PrEP. Outline what’s new in PrEP.\n\nSpeaker: Olufunmi Bolaji\, Pharm.D.\, AAHIVP \nIntended Audience: Pharmacists and Technicians \nAccreditation: Howard University College of Pharmacy\, (COP) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. This program meets ACPE criteria for a total of 1 contact hour (0.1 CEU). Credit will be awarded through the CPE Monitor\, within 3–4 weeks of the seminar to those who successfully complete the program.
